Da Baby once again found himself in hot water with fans after he made some offensive comments at his Rolling Loud performance over the weekend, seemingly targeting gay men and those carrying STDs for no apparent reason, and leading many to believe that the rapper may be homophobic. Adding fuel to the fire was none other than T.I., who quickly brought up publicly-out music artist Lil Nas X as a justification for Da Baby’s comments.
In a video obtained by The Shade Room, Da Baby can be heard saying to the Rolling Loud guests Sunday night, ”If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDs, any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in 2-3 weeks, put your cell phone light in the air.”

The “Suge” rapper added, “Fellas, if you ain’t sucking d**k in the parking lot, put your cell phone lights in the air.”
Commenting on The Shade Room’s Instagram post following the backlash, T.I. wrote Monday, “If Lil Nas X can kick his sh*t in peace, so should Da Baby,” adding a shrug emoji and “#equality” for good measure.

Some even decided to drag the “Rubberband Man” rapper on social media over his defense of Da Baby, with one person writing on Twitter, “Not TI saying since Lil Nas X is expressing himself through music and creativity that we should be okay with Da Baby talking about people having HIV & AIDS totally not the same cut the bullsh*t,”

Seemingly referring to the Atlanta rapper’s recent sexual assault allegations, another wrote, “TI need to be more concerned bout them rape and sex trafficking allegations than defending Da Baby,”

Going live on Instagram later that day, T.I. attempted to clarify his comments and deny allegations that he’s homophobic, saying, “You can’t make me homophobic because I’m proud to be a heterosexual. You can’t make nobody homophobic…Just because I am proud of what I am don’t make me hate what you are, period.”
