The significance of the moment was not lost on the trio, as they expressed their heartfelt appreciation for their beloved Bronx.
In an Instagram post, Coko, 52, reflected on the surreal weekend and the honor bestowed upon her and Lelee.
She wrote, “Never in a million years would I have imagined something like this happening to Cheryl Elizabeth from Forest Ave. This feels so good being recognized by my city. BX stand up!”
