After the verdict found Sweetie Pie star Tim Norman guilty of all charges in the murder-for-hire trial, his mother and the staple of the Sweetie Pie franchise Robbie Montgomery shut down her final location, Sweetie Pie’s Upper Crust in St. Louis, Missouri, on Sept. 25 at 6 p.m.

A notice about the closing was posted on the restaurant’s door, and Montgomery posted an image on Instagram.

“Thank you all so much for the many years of support,” she wrote in her captions.

Montgomery took to her comments encouraging supporters to visit their location in Jackson, Mississippi, located at 110E South Street.

The paper notice on the door read, “We are closing to make more room for the more than four hundred million dollar, Cochran veterans hospital expansion.”

It continued, “We thank each and every one of you for your 25 years of support. It has been a pleasure to serve you, your friends and families. We hope to have an opportunity to serve you in the future.”

Many took to the comment section to express their gratitude for her restaurant.

“My family and I ate at your first location after church on west Florissant for years,” the person commented. “We even brought our out of town guest to both locations. Thank you Ms. Robbie! It has been a pleasure to support your establishment.”

“I knew it,” another commenter wrote. “Imminent Domain at it’s finest. They have knocked a lot of the surrounding buildings around the VA hospital over there & it was just a matter of time until the Upper Crest was goin’ to close there as well. Welp, no more Sweetie Pies in the STL no more!!! Thank you for the good food here Miss Robbie Aand if I’m in Mississippi, I will definitely go there.”

As Sis2Sis has previously reported, Norman was found guilty of murdering Montgomery’s nephew, Andre Montgomery Jr.
