Supermodel Beverly Johnson Reportedly Filed A Restraining Order Against Chris Noth In 1995

Earlier this week, Page Six reported that Beverly Johnson, a supermodel and ex-girlfriend of the Sex and the City star, filed to receive a temporary restraining order against Noth in 1995, with court docs reportedly alleging that he punched her and “made repeated threats” on her life.

Per Page Six, Johnson previously claimed about her relationship with the actor, “Chris Noth punched me in the chest and ribs, injuring my ribs, making it difficult to breathe, punching and bruising my face and body in which I had to have medical attention.”

She added, “On July 27, 1995, he made repeated threats on my life making up to 25 calls per day threatening to kill me [and] destroy my face. Threatened to kill the dog.”

Though the order was approved, Johnson and Noth were later granted a mutual restraining order in October 1995, according to the publication, with a judge

outlining, “Neither party shall make any derogatory statements about the other of any nature or description to another person or entity not encourage or participate in any party making any such derogatory comments about the other to any third person or entity.”

According to TMZ, three women have accused the actor of sexual assault. With her Sex and the City co-stars Kristen Davis and Cynthia Nixon, Sarah Jessica Parker released a statement following the scandal, saying jointly, “We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth. We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences.”

“We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it,” the statement continued.

Following the sexual assault allegations made against actor Chris Noth, the 67-year-old will not return to CBS’ The Equalizer.
