Super Homophobe Boosie Badazz Booked DaBaby to Perform At His Boosie Bash

Shunned rapper DaBaby announced he would perform at Boosie Bash amid the controversy surrounding homophobic comments he made last month.

The “Ball If I Want To” rapper announced the news in a video posted on what appears to be Boosie Badazz’s new burner Instagram account. In the video, DaBaby announced the Boosie Bash would be on August 28, but the video’s caption list is August 29.

DaBaby has been in hot water since he made homophobic comments during his Rolling Loud in late July.

“If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, or any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, then put your cellphone lighter up,” he told the crowd. “Ladies, if your p—- smell like water, put your cellphone lighter up. Fellas, if you ain’t sucking d— in the parking lot, put your cellphone lighter up.”

The comments have led to outrage from many celebrities, including Elton John, QuestLove, Madonna and Megan Thee Stallion. He was also dropped from several festival lineups, including Lollapalooza and iHeartRadio Music Festival. DaBaby also lost a partnership with apparel brand BoohooMen.

While the rest of the world held DaBaby accountable, he had a few allies, including the infamously homophobic Boosie Badazz. The “Wipe Me Down” rapper took up for DaBaby and disrespected Lil Nas X during his spiel.

“Everybody ain’t with their nephew sucking d–k. Not everybody with that sh-t. You just can’t put that sh-t on everybody and expect it to be cool,” Boosie stated in a since-deleted video on Instagram.

“Lil Nas X said he wanna perform naked on stage for charity. You don’t f–k with him like you f–k with DaBaby. Be even-sided. You don’t feel that’s disrespect. Going dance naked. You don’t think that’s disrespect in front of boys who tryna be straight? It’s totally disrespect.”

It looks like birds of a homophobic feather flop together.
