Steve Harvey Calls Kanye West Out After Ye Threatens D.L. Hughley

Legendary comedian, actor, and media personality, Steve Harvey, called Kanye West out after the rapper threatened his friend and fellow comedian, D.L. Hughley.

“Look man, c’mon dog. Pull up…it ain’t what you want,” Harvey warned West during an episode of WHUR 96.3 FM’s The Steve Harvey Morning Show on Mar. 15.

“If y’all do get to scrappin’, all my cash on D.L. ’cause you have no idea. You’ve been a lil politically, socially-conscious rapper. We [are] from an ass-whoopin’ era. We from a whole ‘nother era. D.L. ain’t ya problem. Don’t go out there against that man’s family.”

The 65-year-old comedian’s response came fresh off the heels of the 44-year-old’s claims that Hughley was an industry “pawn” because he said the rapper was “stalking” his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. In an interview with Dj Vlad for Vlad TV

on Feb. 25, he also questioned West’s mental health.

“He’s stalking her,” the Los Angeles native told Vlad. “You can think it’s cute. If it was my daughter, I’d do something about it. I don’t think it’s funny… If you want your family back, stop doing the shit you did that made her leave.”

On Mar. 13, the Grammy Award-winning musician took to Instagram, as per usual, to rant about the comedian’s remarks.

“D.L. Hughley is a pawn. Yeah, I know a king [is] not supposed to address a pawn,” Ye said. He added that he knows how to find addresses, alluding to the fact that he would look for Hughley. “I address everything and find addresses D.L., so don’t speak on me, or my children. I can afford to hurt you.”

Ye continued to clown him, claiming that his family hated him and insinuated that he turned into a has-been.

“You have no favor; your family hates you. I would hate to be related to somebody who used to be famous,” he wrote. “Now [you’re] just known as a broke pawn. At least Oprah got billions ‘allegedly.’ Come on leftists, y’all gotta do better than D.L. This Ye Bring the real smoke baby.”

He even made fun of the 59-year-old’s fashion choices, saying, “This grown-ass man picked this outfit out himself,” under a photo he uploaded of the comedian wearing a casual outfit. “Is he influential or under the influence???” he asked.

Shortly after, he wrote another post, saying he found Hughley’s home.

“Wuuuuuut??? D.L. lives in Calabasas???????? Yoooooo God is good,” he said.

After his seemingly endless mockery, West’s Instagram page was suspended for 24 hours.

Hughley hilariously clapped back on Twitter, making fun of the Chicago-born artist’s threats to find him and attack him.

“Hmmm! Ain’t it weird that #Kanye supposedly has all these goons who will kill for him, but not one of them will get his prescriptions filled? Here’s a thought while you’re on your way to kill me in Calabasas, how about somebody drop by CVS and pick up his Xanax! Lol, #TeamDL.”

He fired off another tweet a few days later, questioning the Donda rapper’s character since Kim has allegedly been dating white comedian Pete Davidson.

“#Kanye do you know how horrible you gotta be to make a #Kardashian date a white man!” he wrote.

A few days later, on Mar. 21, West’s hipster crooner friend, Theophilus London, reportedly showed up to popular Japanese restaurant, NOBU, in Malibu, to confront Hughley. However, no altercation has been reported.
