Starz has renewed the second season of its comedy series Run The World from Lionsgate Television.
The new season will come with new showrunner Rachelle Williams who is taking over for Yvette Lee Bowser. Bowser will continue to serve as executive producer alongside Williams and series creator Leigh Davenport.
The series follows a group of gorgeous, smart, funny, and vibrant thirty-something Black women who navigate their highs and lows in the urban landscape of Harlem, NY. The show is raw, authentic and shows the viewer how the characters grow in relationships and sisterhood.
The cast was excited about the news and took to social media to share their reactions.
