Always ready to take over the internet, self-proclaimed hip-hop pioneer Soulja Boy was recently captured on video, giving a stack of cash to a young candy seller, bragging that he’s the first ever to do it.
Da Baby uploaded a video to his Instagram Stories earlier this week showing the rapper refusing to pay $200 for a box of candy that two young Black boys were selling on the street.
While some social media users argued that Da Baby did the right thing to teach them a lesson, others thought he could’ve given them the cash and kept it moving.
In a video shared by DJ Akademiks on Instagram, Big Draco counts a wad of cash before handing it over, saying, “That’s a bankroll.”
The “Pretty Boy Swag” rapper continued, “And I don’t want the candy! First rapper to give a n***a a bankroll and let him keep the candy.”
Feeling the generous spirit, Soulja Boy was seen dishing out more money after another person told him that they were selling their candy at $5 each.
“I don’t want no candy,” he stated after also giving them cash.

Sounding off on social media, one person tweeted in support of Soulja Boy’s deed, “As y’all were clowning Da Baby for not paying them kids. Soulja Boy approached kids with candy and paid them. Without taking their product. He was following the plot.. making a joke toward Da Baby.. while still coming out of pocket.”
Another fan added, “Soulja Boy out here finding kids that’s selling Candy and just givin’ them money lol Da Baby lookin’ even more lame now.”
