Social Media Mourns Death Of Fitness Guru And Mental Health Advocate Raven K. Jackson After Alleged Suicide

The fitness and social media world is reeling following the tragic death of mental health advocate, fitness guru and model Raven K. Jackson.

Raven, a Jackson State University graduate, reportedly died by suicide, according to a heartfelt post written by her boyfriend of two years, rapper 600 Breezy on September 6.

Breezy shared a series of alleged text messages that the Biomedical Sciences major sent

him before she took her life. In the texts, she spoke about being in a spiral for a long time, feeling like she wasn’t loved and expressed that she was “tired of this world.”

His caption captured his grief.

My baby was hurting and I did everything I could to show her nothing but love and keep her going. I put everything into her and her business. I believed in her I worshipped the ground she walked on . She’s gone forever. I hate myself . Please when your loved ones are showing signs of any mental damage or health please take them serious. This is real . This is what she left me with. And I suppose to be able to continue to live ?????”Y

@raven.k.jackson you always told me you wanted to go out young so you can get that love you deserve from others and be a legend. But what about your family, baby, what about me? you left my heart so empty and broken lifeless alone. And no matter what they say or what you say I’m gonna forever feel like it’s my fault. Please y’all pay attention to the signs of depression or mental health,” Breezy wrote.

He also wrote in another post that he had promised Raven that he was coming home, and that people loved her. Breezy also expressed that the gorgeous health guru was his “life.”

“Baby why would you do this to me , why would you do this to us 💔 I was coming back home I promised you I would . You just gone leave me forever? You kno how many people love you raven ? I would’ve never left if this was the outcome,”  he expressed. “I’m f**ked up for the rest of my life baby mentally you just finished me. I’m shaking I’m crying I love you so much stinky pie . My woman my wife my life …You pushed me away so you can do this ??? I would’ve died with you raven I did any and everything for you …I’ll never be able to love again @raven.k.jackson . I’ll see you soon baby. God help me please.”

Another rapper, Eastside Ivo, also expressed his grief over Raven’s death, writing a poignant post to his fallen “twin” on Instagram.

“I love you 4Life @raven.k.jackson my libra ♎️ twin we so much a like, I’ll never forget a piece of our memories. Would’ve never thought you’d actually quit though. 🥹 #RIP🕊.”

Fans expressed their condolences and thoughts of her passing on social media.

Prior to her reported suicide, Raven had dedicated time to another talent she possessed, motivating and encouraging individuals to push through their mental health challenges. Her Instagram page “Real Talk With Raven” was

created and enphasized mental health and awareness while providing a safe, inviting, and nurturing space to facilitate growth and awareness.”

Rest in eternal peace, Queen!
