On May 9, Twitter went down memory lane commemorating their favorite TV show moms, one of them being Phylicia Rashad and paying tribute to her starring role on The Cosby Show as Cliff’s wife, Claire Huxtable.
However, it all went south when someone decided to fire shots at her with a tweet labeling Rashad as an ‘enabler.”
A woman named Lisa Talmadge tweeted, “Claire Huxtable was an enabler of the longest and most prolific drug rape predator In US history, Bill Cosby. Everyone on set knew he was a sadistic predator. Everyone. 75 women drugged and raped by Cosby, and he got away with it because of enablers.”
But Rashad fans were quick to shut the hater up.
“Neither Claire Huxtable or Phylicia Rashad are responsible for Bill Cosby’s actions. She was his co-worker and employee, not his supervisor or co-conspirator in his crimes,” said a fan.

1) Claire Huxtable is a fictional character
2) Phylicia Rashad is an actress & not responsible for Bill Cosby’s actions. She worked with him professionally that’s it
3) Stop trying to blame a BW for this Rapist’s actions. Bill Cosby is responsible for his transgressions! pic.twitter.com/bDlYYcJil6— I’m gon mind my business 🤦🏾♀️ (@livelovelina93) May 9, 2021
One fan even blocked the woman.

The Cosby Show fans do not play when it comes to Clair Huxtable.
Phylicia Rashad and Debbie Allen have helped hundreds, maybe even thousands, of Black women succeed in life and better themselves over the last 50 years.
What has Lisa Talmadge done for Black women?

Talmadge was definitely canceled.
Phylicia Rashad deserves an apology immediately. Lisa is a god damn demon for this shit. I hate chaos agents. https://t.co/zXtJvfyLgh

Fans on Twitter are making it loud and clear that they folks better put some respect on Rashad’s name.
