In a beef that literally no one saw coming, Snowfall actor De’Aundre Bonds and rapper 50 Cent have been going back and forth over social media. The drama started on Instagram when Bonds promoted his show’s current fifth season while also apparently taking shots at 50 Cent for being the type of producer to “steal the shine from the actors.”
In an Instagram video, Bonds imitated Suge Knight’s speech at the Source Awards in 1995, saying, “If you don’t want the executive producers all in the movie scenes, all on the TV screens trying to steal the shine from the actors, come to
Snowfall!”The actor who plays short-tempered criminal Skully on the show continued, “Yeah, come on! Y’all already know!”
Bonds didn’t directly call anyone out. But, fans instantly assumed Bonds was taking shots at the “Candy Shop” rapper, who was a series regular on Power for five seasons. He is also an executive producer for the crime show and its current spinoff, Power Book II: Ghost.

Always up for a clap back, 50 Cent caught wind of the actor’s comments and took to his own Instagram to respond. “
Every now and then, I get a hater. Note to self, never give this [n***a] a job. [laughing emojis] F*** outta here,” he captioned the post, which featured several pictures of Bonds crying.Social media users quickly started to discuss which show is better, as well as 50 Cent’s infamously snappy comebacks.
“Not 50 Cent talking shit about snowfall… 50 could NEVA,” one person tweeted.
Another fan wrote, “LMAO, now why did Skully just call 50 Cent out for being all in the camera of his shows and told n***as to come to Snowfall.”
One thing’s for sure: We don’t want to be on either of their bad sides.
