Snoop Dogg’s Daughter Cori Speaks On Mental Health Awareness And Opens Up About Suicide Attempt

Snoop Dogg’s youngest daughter, Cori Broadus, opens up about her mental health and speaks about a recent suicide attempt in a vulnerable Instagram post.

Snoop Dogg, born Calvin Broadus, has seen massive success in his career and has been able to see his children’s success. He shares three children with his wife Shante, including his 21-year-old daughter Cori and two older sons Cordell and Cordae Broadus.

Cori, known by her stage name CHOC, has carved her own lane in the music industry, following her legendary father’s footsteps. She’s garnered a following and over four hundred thousand followers on social media and has released tracks throughout the years, including  “Daddy’s Girl” featuring

Snoop himself.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and throughout the years, celebrities like Jada Pinkett Smith, Jay-Z and Taraji P. Henson have shared their experiences. They have spoken candidly about their own battles to break stereotypes and inspire people to seek treatment.

While Snoop’s baby girl is proving she’s successful, the budding star opened up about situations she’s been facing recently. Cori spoke on mental health on an Instagram post, revealing that she recently attempted to commit suicide.

Cori wrote, “The last few weeks my mental has not been so great at one point I tried to end my life but you & my family really give me a purpose to live & helped me realize Iife is much more than materialistic things & you gotta just keep pushing through the bulls**t. THANK YOU #mentalhealthawareness.”

A few days later, Cori shared a video on Instagram with the caption “My Story🤎.”

In the video, the young woman speaks about battling illnesses, handling depression and navigating life as she tries to find her purpose.

Followers responded to the video with supportive comments, complimenting Cori for her success thus far and encouraging her to continue pushing forward.
