Snoop Dogg Joins ‘Netflix Is A Joke’ Festival, Creates His Own Comedy Special

Netflix has put together a 10-day comedy festival called Netflix Is A Joke, which begins on April 28 through May 8 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. In addition, rapper Snoop Dogg has joined the event with his own comedy special.

According to the streamer’s website, new shows will be added to the lineup on April 5, including the Compton native’s comedy special entitled F*cn Around, featuring Katt Williams, Mike Epps, Sommore, and other prominent Black comedians that are expected to hit the center stage.

Additionally, comics such as Kountry Wayne, Lil Rell Howery, Abbott Elementary’s Janelle James, and more will be part of the week-long festivities.

Aside from his upcoming special, Snoop has faced legal problems involving a sexual assault lawsuit from a woman claiming that he sexually assaulted her. In February, the unidentified model and actress filed legal documents against the west coast rapper, born Calvin Broadus, claiming that he forced her to perform oral sex on him on May 29, 2013, Sis2Sis reported.

“Jane Doe” alleged that Snoop gave her a ride home after performing in Anaheim, California. Instead, the woman claimed that she ended up at Snoop’s friend Bishop Don “Magic” Juan’s home after falling asleep in the vehicle they were riding in.

“Plaintiff was exhausted and fell asleep at [Bishop’s] home,” the lawsuit stated. She also says she woke up at 4 a.m. the next morning. Bishop “removed his penis from his pants and forced his penis in Plaintiff’s face” and “repeatedly shoved his penis into Plaintiff’s mouth.”

Recently, the woman filed a motion on Wednesday to drop the $10 million lawsuit against Snoop and Don Juan. According to the court documents, Jane Doe requested the lawsuit be dropped “in its entirety” and “without prejudice.” However, she can decide to refile in the future.

“It is not surprising that the plaintiff dismissed her complaint against the defendants,” the source told Billboard. “Her complaint was full of false allegations and deficiencies.”

Snoop responded to allegations against him, saying that the plaintiff wanted to extort money from him.
