Snoop Dogg warned his fans about driving in wet weather after he crashed his Chevy earlier this week.
The West Coast rapper showed some of the damage to his 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air in a video posted on his Instagram page Tuesday, per AutoEvolution. Snoop introduced his Instagram followers to the “mint condition” Chevy last October.
In the video’s caption, Snoop urged fans to be careful when driving in the rain.
The brief clip displayed a flat tire loosely wrapped around a bent rim.
“I done ripped the whole fucking rim off my tire cuz,” Snoop Dogg said in the video. Additional details about the crash have not been revealed.
Snoop appears to be okay and posted a photo of himself later that day. In the image, the “Drop It Like Its Hot” rapper struck a pose as he stood in front of a lineup of vehicles.
“Bac up n moving,” he captioned the photo.
We love to see it because the Doggfather is a busy man. Also, he has more than enough coins to buy another Chevy.
He announced his next music project, Algorithm, during an interview with Jimmy Fallon. The LP will drop in November.
Snoop is also Def Jam’s new executive creative and strategic consultant. He plans to mentor contemporary artists and put out great music.
“I wanted to go over there and give a lot of opportunity to the artists over there to get some information, some wisdom and some guidance from me and then also develop some new acts and give some opportunity,” he told Fallon.
“I’m over there for one reason: to get the music back poppin’ and to make the people feel like they’re supposed to feel.”
Snoop is also part of the star-studded lineup slated to perform at the 2022 Super Bowl. He will join Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar onstage during the halftime show at Super Bowl LVI, per Entertainment Tonight. The lineup is a direct result of the NFL’s partnership with Jay-Z and Roc Nation.
“On February 13, 2022, at the Super Bowl LVI in Inglewood, CA, in the new SoFi Stadium, Dr. Dre, a musical visionary from Compton, Snoop Dogg, an icon from Long Beach and Kendrick Lamar, a young musical pioneer in his own right, also from Compton, will take center field for a performance of a lifetime,” Hov said in a statement.
“They will be joined by the lyrical genius, Eminem, and the timeless Queen Mary J. Blige,” the statement continued. “This is the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. This is history in the making.”
