Simone Biles has added a new set of bling to her collection!

According to People Magazine, the Olympic gold medalist, 24, got engaged to boyfriend Jonathan Owens and celebrated the occasion on Tuesday in an Instagram post, revealing the stunning engagement ring. 

Owens, 26, proposed to Biles with an oval-shaped diamond ring designed by jeweler ZoFrost. The 24-year-old displayed her new ring in a series of photos, including one alongside Owens, as it captured the ring on her finger.

In the photos, Biles wore a mini black dress with open-toed Yves Saint Laurant heels, while Owens wore a gray suit with black sneakers as he prepared to get down on one knee. 

“THE EASIEST YES,” Biles wrote in the caption of her post. “I can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you. You’re everything I dreamed of and more! let’s get married, FIANCÉ 💍🥺🥲🤎 @jowens_3.”  

After proposing to the gymnast, Owens — safety for the Houston Texans, shared the engagement photos on his respective Instagram account. 

Gushing with excitement, Biles posted to her Instagram stories, wearing the ring while Facetimed her friends. 

Owen’s also tagged ZoFrost in the post, thanking him for designing the gorgeous piece of jewelry for his bride-to-be.

“Woke up this morning with a fiancée 💍❤️,” Owens posted on Instagram. “Appreciate my dawg @don_julio314 for helping me set everything up. She really had no clue what was coming 😂 @zofrost. You went crazy on this one. Bro really made the night special 🙌🏽 📸:

The jeweler congratulated the couple and shared the clip of Biles and Owens on his account, writing, “Congratulations @jowens_3 and @simonebiles !! Thank you for letting me part of your big day!!!”

Biles and Owens started dating in August 2020. Last year, the couple celebrated their first anniversary in Tokyo while Biles competed in the Summer Olympics. 

In August, Biles revealed details about her relationship with her now-fiancé to People Magazine, saying that she and Owens have “love and appreciation for each other.”

She added that it’s been “so exciting” to watch Owens’ football career, telling the outlet, “I love watching him play because he has such a passion. He works so hard so for him to be able to showcase that on the field is really exciting.” 

The four-time U.S. champion was named the 2021 Athlete of the Year by TIME magazine on Dec. 9 and featured on the issue’s cover, Sis2Sis reported.
