Harlem-born rapper A$AP Rocky was chosen as GQ Magazine’s “Prettiest Man Alive” for their June/July cover. In the corresponding profile for the magazine, Rocky opened up about new opportunities, his mark made in the fashion industry and his relationship with pop icon Rihanna, with who the “Wild for the Night” rapper allegedly began a relationship last year.

Rihanna was featured on his 2013 hit “Fashion Killa,” and dating rumors immediately surrounded the pair. Last August, after Rihanna, they participated in a GQ segment titled “A$AP Rocky Answers 18 Questions From Rihanna,” one typically reserved for couples.

Last December, the two were photographed in Rihanna’s home country of Barbados, leading fans to believe that they were becoming more than friends. When asked about what it’s like to now be in a relationship, Rocky referred to the “Sex With Me” songstress and even called her “the one.”

“So much better when you got the One,” Rocky told GQ. “She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones. I think when you know, you know. She’s the One.”

Speaking on whether he’ll be prepared for fatherhood anytime soon, Rocky joked to GQ, “If that’s in my destiny, absolutely. I think I’m already a dad! All these motherfuckers are already my sons—whatchu talkin’ ’bout!” adding “Nah, but like, I think I’d be an incredible, remarkably, overall amazing dad. I would have a very fly child. Very.”

Much like his significant other, Rocky has been known to push the boundaries of fashion and create a unique style for himself. For the GQ Magazine cover, A$AP Rocky is shown shirtless and wearing a kilt with leather boots.

Referring to the time he donned a kilt through the streets of his Harlem hometown, Rocky told GQ, “I got called the worst of the worst. The nails, the kilts, the pretty-boy swag, the pearls—I think it’s just being comfortable.”

“I just express myself with fashion, and what’s fly is fly. I do it on some punk sh**.”
