Sherri Shepherd’s Wig Goes YEET Live While Discussing Pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts’ Wig Blunder

Lord, have mercy! Actress and talk show host Sherri Shepherd’s wig falls off amid her discussion on pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts’ wig malfunction during a church sermon.

On a recent episode of Sherri, the Mr. Iglesias actress brought up pastor T.D. Jakes’ daughter’s viral “Locked In” sermon at the Potter’s House in Dallas, Texas.

The message and moment were so powerful that even Roberts’ wig was moved — literally. Roberts’ wig began to slide off her head to where she

removed it entirely and continued her message.

“Here’s the thing, when you wear wigs, you are trusting the person that put the wig on…that it’s going to be secure,” Sherri said. “When it starts sliding, you can feel it slide ’cause you will start out with it down here and all of a sudden, it just keeps making its way up, especially if the wig weighs a lot.”

She continued, “All you can do is what Sarah Jakes did…pull it forward. So, she preached for the rest of the show in her wig cap. ‘Cuz there’s nothing you can do at that moment. You can’t throw down the mic and walk out and try to fix it. The show must go on.”

Amid Sherri explaining how Roberts inspired churchgoers and herself with the sermon, causing them to rise and rejoice, the host imitated the churchgoers’ reaction by jumping from her seat —  her wig falling behind her.

The audience went wild.

“Oh, shoot. The wig came off. What you gon’ do? The show gotta go on! The show must go on!”

Sherri then chucked her wig off-camera.

After Roberts’ wig slip, she pointed out a woman in the audience who followed her steps and removed her wig.

“She took her wig off, too. We got to get out of here.”
