On the night of Wednesday, March 31, R&B singer Jacquees released a snippet of his remix to Mooski’s “Track Star” song, according to The Shade Room.
The artist is known for putting his ashy vocals over hit tracks, but as of recently, he’s been a ghost in the world of music until the release of this snippet.
The snippet was already a hit, to begin with, but he also released a video to go with it along with the song.

Jacquees sings about a girl he splurged on in a relationship which later decided to diss him, in the remix.
“She a mannequin. She love the cameras. She know easy methods to act want a cinema. Get on Instagram to verify her mood, …”
“Said I get you drunk, but that wasn’t a problem when you was texting me, yeah (Texting me). Tryna flex on me? Girl, that ain’t cool (Not cool).”

Jacquees has had previous issues doing his popular “Queemixes” of popular tunes.
In 2018, the jaw-jacking crooner got into trouble with Ella Mai and DJ Mustard after the artist remixed Mai’s “Trip“ song.
Mai’s record label later made a statement about Jacquees allegedly trying to monetize off of the remix, which she made known that she had no part of.
In 2018, the delusional self-proclaimed “King of R&B” told Rolling Stone Magazine he had the music game on lock.
“I just wanna let everybody know that I’m the king of R&B right now… For this generation, I understand who done came and who done did that and that and that, but now it’s my time. Jacquees the king of R&B,” he said.
When pressed further by the publication about why he made such ridiculous claim, Jacquees answered, “Well, I got off stage, and I had just performed in Rochester, New York, and it had been on my mind anyway ‘cause I was just thinking like that. People ain’t really doing what I’m doing right now. I listen to everybody’s music. I’m a fan of it all, but for real R&B, ain’t nobody doing what I’m doing.”
Right. Nobody jacks other artists’ work for a living.
Despite his issues with having remixed songs in the past, Jacquees is apparently back and ready to keep dropping unoriginal, nasal-tinged hits.
