Quavo and Saweetie shocked fans a couple of weeks ago when they publicly announced their split. With cheating rumors swirling around the breakup, the former celebrity couple is back in the news again, this time for a physical altercation in an elevator.
TMZ exclusively gained access to surveillance footage of the incident, which was all caught on a North Hollywood apartment’s elevator camera. The minute-and-a-half-long video starts with Saweetie either attempting to hit or throw something at Quavo.
She then grabs an orange suitcase, which is later revealed to be for the popular “Call of Duty” game series, from inside the elevator. Quavo struggles with her while also carrying a black duffle bag. Saweetie is swung into the elevator wall by Quavo, and both continue to struggle over the luggage on the ground.

Quavo stands up and looks around while Saweetie stays on the elevator floor, likely still reeling from what just happened. They reach a floor where a man is waiting to board the elevator. But with Saweetie still on the floor and an obvious altercation having taken place, the man appears to wait for the next one.
There’s no audio, so we can’t make out if any words were exchanged in the elevator. However, when the elevator doors open again, Quavo gets off, uses his orange suitcase to hold the elevator doors and appears to wait for Saweetie.

She struggles to get up and slowly walks off the elevator, possibly injured. The newly released video allegedly took place in 2020 before they called it quits, sources told TMZ, proving that the two rappers may have had a much more toxic and volatile relationship than fans knew about.
Saweetie broke the news of their breakup on March 19, tweeting, “I emotionally checked out a long time ago and have walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom. Excited for this new chapter of elevation.”
I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.
