Safaree Samuels Gets Clowned on Twitter After He Bragged About Bleaching His Skin

Safaree Samuels was clowned for being goofy, again, after he bragged about bleaching his skin on Twitter this week.

The Love and Hip-Hop star shared his intentions in a tweet posted on his timeline on Monday.

“Starting my skin bleaching process today… it’s time for change,” Samuels wrote.

He ended the statement with a set of praying hands emojis, one with dark skin and another with light skin.

Samuels’ shenanigans earned him a deserved dragging on Twitter.

“You could’ve kept this self hating s–t to yourself. You’re a public figure, and people see this. I’ll never understand people hating their blackness,” wrote one commenter.

“Fake skin tone to match your Fake hairline. You’re a goofy!” said another critic.

“You’re changing what, for who? Like your black is beautiful. Please say you’re joking because this is unbelievable. Like, do you honestly feel that bleaching your skin; is going change whatever you’re going through mentally and physically(spiritually). Dude, are you SERIOUS?” tweeted another person.

This weird-ass announcement came three days after Samuels’ estranged wife, Erica Mena, sent Wendy Williams a message through one of her Love and Hip-Hip: Atlanta

co-stars, Spice.

The dancehall singer relayed the message during an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show.

“She said to tell you you were right,” Spice told Williams on June 18. “I don’t know what you said, but whatever you said about Safaree.”

Williams was visibly shocked and provided some context.

“I said don’t have him in the birth room when you deliver, divorce him and go on with your life while you’re still young and can get another,” Williams said, referring to a comment she made in May about the couple’s relationship. She later added Samuels was “trouble.”

After Williams made her initial comments, Mena threatened to beat her up. Less than three weeks later, Mena filed for a divorce. She is currently pregnant with the couple’s second child.

Not only is Karma a b—h, but she’s also quick, too.
