Safaree Samuels and Amara La Negra, two Love & Hip Hop reality stars, are officially a couple and dancing on the Internet to see. Unfortunately, people are not happy with their new relationship, saying Safaree’s history should be a red flag for Amara.
On April 30, Safaree Samuels posted a video of him with his girlfriend Amara dancing, which quickly got shared and reposted on gossip social channels like The Shade Room.
The attention was not focused on how happy they seemed together, but rather how a “good girl” Amara got with a “Jamaican waste man” like Safaree.
“Trying to teach me. Wth,” the father of two captioned it, adding two crying laughing emojis. Amara then reposted the footage on her own Instagram Story, Ace Showbiz reported.
The video is neither available on Amara nor Safaree’s IG page now.

Several comments in the video point out how Safaree’s past relationships either ended with him seeking more attention or leaving women like Erica Mena with responsibilities.
Safaree has been linked to a number of women over the years, including the following: Nicki Minaj from 2004 to 2014, Mena from 2016 to 2017, DreamDoll in 2017, Star Divine in 2017, Nikki Mudarris in 2016, Analicia Chaves from 2015 to 2016, Zashia Santiago in 2015, and Sophia Body in 2015, and Mena again from 2019 to 2022.
With the exception of Minaj, the Jamaican dancer has had many short-term relationships with other female reality stars and video vixens, prompting commenters on the video to urge fan-favorite star Amara to do better than him.
Mena and Safaree got engaged in 2017, but called off their engagement in 2018. They reconciled and got married in 2019. They have a son together, but he was the last to get married. In 2023, it was reported that their divorce will be finalized, The Atlanta Black Star reported.
The drama between Mena and her ex-husband continues as Safaree reportedly gave Amara’s twin daughters from a previous relationship Rolex watches for their first birthday, which pales in comparison to what he did for his biological son and his former stepdaughter from Mena’s previous relationship.
“Awe so cute. It’s just very interesting how my kids have NEVER received gifts like this by this waste man,” Mena said. “My daughter just turned 3. All she got was a birthday cake and a few balloons in his living room,” she added.
“And please don’t get me started on how he didn’t do anything for my sons 1st birthday until two weeks after the fact… And again, that was just [sic] ballons in his living room. But Happy every enjoyed this circus them birthday party with a deadbeat clown as the special guest.”
