Erica Mena filed for divorce from her husband, Safaree, on May 25, and the couple seems to not be on the same page about who should get custody of their daughter Safire and their baby on the way.
Safaree plans to allow Mena exclusive use of the home they share, but he doesn’t want her to have primary custody of their children.

TMZ reported that Safaree wishes to have joint custody of their children despite Mena’s request for primary custody.
He stated that consistent, uninterrupted parenting and visitation are in the best interest of the kids.
Mena reportedly seeks to retain “exclusive use” of the couple’s home. Although Safaree doesn’t have a problem with that, he wants to maintain exclusive possession of their vehicles and maintain all personal property they obtained individually throughout the marriage.
Safaree also seeks to be removed from any liability involving the property through refinancing the mortgage and expects to get a cut of any equity in the property.
Safaree is protective of his coins!
He reportedly wants the court to deny Mena any rights to receive alimony and allow the courts to determine how much child support he should give his kids.

The couple has been low-key on social media and decided not to give too many details of their divorce or the custody battle.
Mena is currently focusing on the state of her health and recently shared on her Instagram story that she was in the hospital being monitored due to her pregnancy.
Mena, who filed for divorce just a few months away from their 2nd anniversary, wanted primary custody of the kids, but Safaree’s not giving so easily.
