Russell Wilson Proposes To Ciara, Once More, To Ask For Additional Children

Russell Wilson, 33, proposed to his wife, Ciara, 36, once more to ask for additional children.

The Seattle Seahawks quarterback got down on one knee and popped the question to his wife while she guest-hosted the latest episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Mar. 4. Russell was also a guest on the show and appeared with a bouquet of beautiful roses for Ciara before re-proposing.

“I have a question for you, a serious question. Can we have more babies?” he asked her as she giggled with the bouquet in her hand.

He continued, begging the Grammy Award-winning singer to give him one more child.

“I mean, it would be perfect. Just give me one more, at least.”

“We definitely can, but we have a little bit more time befo’ we get there,” she hilariously responded.

The two have been loving parents to three children: Win Harrison, 1, Sienna Princess, 4, and Cici’s son with rapper Future, Future Zahir, 7.

However, before asking his burning question, Ciara revealed that her husband made her nervous.

“Russ makes me really nervous…I kinda know why but I don’t know. I always feel vulnerable with you in this setting,” she said.

She also told him that she loved seeing him being a father.

“We do have our three beautiful babies, and I love seeing you in daddy mode. It’s the cutest thing,” she said. “I love seeing you with Sienna [and] I’m a daddy’s girl, so I will say that’s one of the sexiest things about you.”

The “Level Up” singer added that she is very inspired by Russell’s work ethic, which included waking up at four in the morning to work out every day. “I really admire that…you are such a hard worker…that inspires me,” she said.

Ciara and Russ tied the knot on Jul. 6, 2016, and have been inseparable ever since. Last month they were spotted at Drake’s Super Bowl 2022 party, where they allegedly left because Future took the stage as a surprise guest. ICYMI, the 36-year-old, had a tumultuous past with her ex-boyfriend/baby daddy, but she and Russell made a graceful exit from the football party. They seemed unbothered about it, being that they never mentioned the situation during or before Ellen. Naturally, they have had more important things on their plate to discuss, like their new book.

“We got the great chance to create our first book, and to do it together, and it’s called ‘Why Not You?'” Ci announced.

“Why Not You” is the pair’s first children’s picture book, which they created to encourage kids to chase their wildest dreams. Artist Jessica Wilson Gibson illustrated its vibrant images of Black youth, and it hit bookshelves on Tuesday, Mar. 1.

“As you go into the book, it’s all about dreaming. It’s all about the idea of dreaming big and making your dreams come true.” Russell said.
