Rapper and TV personality Romeo Miller announced the birth of his newborn baby girl on Instagram.

He made the heartfelt announcement via his Instagram page on Feb. 14, with beautiful video footage of himself, his then-pregnant girlfriend, Drew Sangster, and loved ones.

“It’s been hard to hold this in, but it was important for us to make sure our baby girl got here safe and healthy before making any announcements to the world during this sacred journey,” he wrote. “Psalms 127:3 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.”

He continued, expressing his excitement for being a girl-dad and some wise words that his great-grandmother told him growing up.

“My great granny always said if you live long enough, you’ll realize that everything (and the best things) are on God’s time, never yours. The best Valentine’s [day] ever. Been waiting for this moment my entire life. Thank you, @drewsangster. I’m a #GirlDad babbbbbyyy. Song: Unchained Melody.”

Later that day, Romeo uploaded another post, gushing about his newborn, saying they were twins. The rapper and reality TV personality added a slide, including his daughter’s cute hospital photo and one of his baby photos for comparison.

“Meet Baby R!” He wrote, with Jamaican, Dominican, and American flag emojis representing her parents’ nationalities. “That’s my lil twin! Swipe left to see what I’m talking bout ha.”

He also mentioned that his daughter and her mother own a baby company.

Romeo went public about his relationship with Drew on Nov. 27, 2020, via Instagram.

“Thankful I accepted that Thanksgiving invite, I could get used to this @drewsangster. Yesterday was a good day. #cuffingseason.”

Drew reportedly sent him a turkey day invite along with a handwritten letter of 138 reasons why she was happy she met him. She also reportedly sent him a book every month during the pandemic.

Their private relationship is in stark contrast to Romeo’s upbringing as a childhood star-turned actor and TV personality.

Famously known as iconic rapper and businessman Master P’s son, he rose to fame in the early ’00s as a recording artist. Over the years, however, he moved into other mediums, including acting and producing. He was also a regular on the hit WE TV reality show, Growing Up Hip Hop, which his father executive-produced. After five seasons, they both departed from the show, which they addressed on an episode of Power 105.1 FM’s The Breakfast Club.

“Let me tell you, I’ve been in this business for 19 years,” Romeo said. “…So, even with the show, it’s not about the money. I’m the highest-paid on the network but, I had to walk away because I can’t sell my soul for money. I can’t sell my soul for a storyline…It’s fake drama for no reason.”

As of late, he has been busy being one of the hosts on Fox Soul’s The Mix.
