Rapper Roddy Ricch is combating his ex in court, demanding joint custody over their child after she demanded sole custody and accused him of drug abuse.
According to Radar Online, Roddy’s ex-girlfriend, Alexandra Kiser, requested that the court order the rapper to pay $20,000 monthly child support for sole custody.
Kiser didn’t hold back, alleging the rapper spent more time under the influence of a sedative called Promethazine than spend time with their child. In addition to the drug allegations, Kiser said Roddy is “gang-affiliated” and doesn’t trust to put her son’s safety in his hands.
Kiser claimed the rapper evicted her and the child from his house and financially suspended her despite the rapper making more than $10 million annually.
“(Roddy) is a very successful and highly paid entertainer who goes by the name of Roddy Ricch. He has a net worth of approximately $25,000,000. He commands fees of $500,000 for appearances,” she said.
She said Roddy neglected his parental duties, recalling when he failed to do anything on Christmas for his son.
“I was hurt to find out on Christmas Eve when he came back from his trip that he hadn’t gotten or planned anything for our son for Christmas,” Kiser said.
The court recently ruled that the rapper had to pay $24,000 monthly child support, but Kiser wants support for herself and their son and full custody.
“I am now asking for the court’s help by compelling Rodrick to uphold the promise he made to me and to grant financial support from him for myself and our son. For these reasons, I am also asking for sole custody,” Kiser said.
Roddy is fighting back with his lawyer, Samantha Spector, and requesting joint legal and physical custody of their 3-year-old and if they could split legal fees regarding their legal case.
We hope things work out for the child.
