Rising Rapper Sexyy Red Cuts Performance Short And Exists Stage After Audience Threw Water Bottles At Her

From Bebe Rexha to Pink, there has been an increase in concertgoers throwing objects at performers while they’re on stage. The same thing happened to rapper Sexyy Red.

Amid her performance on stage, Sexyy Red warned the audience that if they continued throwing water bottles at her, “it’s going to go down” and demanded they stop.

She continued her performance until the audience resumed throwing stuff at her. Fed up, Sexyy Red cut her performance short and announced

she was done.

After the incident, Sexyy Red took to her social media to respond to her haters, using the “Eric Cartman” audio from South Park.

“When [they] hatin’ but you know you [the] s**t,” she captioned the post.

Users ran to the comments to give their thoughts on the matter.

“Yea, to purchase a ticket just to throw stuff at the performer is crazy.”

“I understand why she walked off, but she doesn’t seem like a very good artist to begin with.”

“At the end of the day …. She didn’t deserve that disrespect.”

“Gotta be mentally unstable to purchase a ticket to see an artist to just throw stuff at them. Clearly have money to waste on someone you “dislike” weird to me, tbh.”

Sexyy Red is a Memphis-born rapper who gained much attention after releasing “Pound Town” in January 2023. Nicki Minaj remixed the song in May. Her rap style aligns with today’s popular raunchy rap style, similar to City Girls, Trina and Sukihana.

Despite the backlash Sexyy Red gets, many artists have shown love to the rising rapper, like Saucy Santana, GloRilla and Summer Walker.
