Rihanna Suffered Rare Dragging After She Posted A Controversial Statement About Sheikh Jarrah Conflict

Rihanna was heavily criticized after posting a statement about the conflict between Israeli colonizers and Palestinian citizens in Sheikh Jarrah.

Rih Rih f****d around and found out what happens when a person tries to see both sides of colonization and genocide.

The rare slip-up occurred on Wednesday when she issued a statement about the violence happening in the East Jerusalem neighborhood.

“My heart is breaking with the violence I’m seeing displayed between Israel and Palestine!” the Fenty Beauty boss said in a statement posted on her personal Instagram page.

“I can’t bear to see it! Innocent Israeli and Palestinian children are hiding in bomb shelters, over 40 lives lost in Gaza alone, at least 13 of whom were also innocent children!”

“There needs to be some kind of resolve!” Rihanna added. “We are sadly watching innocent people fall victim to notions perpetrated by government and extremists, and this cycle needs to be broken!”

It’s giving all lives matter, Rih Rih.

If you didn’t know, all hell broke loose in East Jerusalem after tensions between Israelis and Palestinians boiled over on Monday.

BBC reported the latest conflict was spurred by a clash at a holy site considered sacred by both Muslims and Jews.

Hamas, the group occupying Gaza, reportedly fired warning rockets to force the Israelis to retreat. The Israelis responded with airstrikes.

This isn’t simply a war. Palestinians were colonized and forced to give up their land so Israel could be established.

Rihanna’s comment is problematic because it implies both groups have the same power. That’s the short of it. That’s why so many people are upset with Rihanna.

On top of that, her latest statement contradicts a tweet she sent about the issue a few years ago.

The Navy had to take that L.

“Israel is a settler-colonial state. We must BDS & oppose Zionism. Palestinians have the right to resist the violation of their human rights. This isn’t war, or conflict between two equal sides,” wrote one Twitter user. “Stand against ethnic cleansing, genocide, & apartheid. DECOLONIZE Palestine!”

Rihanna has not addressed the controversy, and the post has not been deleted.

Girl, please regroup because we still want the album.
