Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams recently announced the pre-sale of her memoir “The Pursuit of Porsha,” where she explains details into her life during the show and says she was homeless.
According to Shadow and Act, in the book, Williams will talk about her time on Bravo only a few weeks after her ex-husband, NFL player Kordell Stewart filed for divorce and the social pressure she faced. She’ll also give insight into her childhood, family dynamic, and nasty battles on the show.
“I went from being homeless while starring on The Real Housewives to owning two successful businesses,” she said in the intro of the book.
“After starring season after season on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, I felt there was still so much I never got a chance to say in those confessionals or never got to express at the reunions between throwing shade and receipts,” she wrote in the excerpt. “So I’ve opened up my life here, page by page, to share my truth, my strength, and my pursuit of the real Porsha.”

In a post announcing the book’s pre-sale, Williams wrote, “I don’t shy away from the camera, but who knew it would be so hard to choose the photo for the cover of my book? The photo we finally chose is one of my favorites because it shows both happiness and strength.”
“I had to fight for those qualities—my joy and self-acceptance—but it’s a fight that made me the person I am today. I hope you’ll find your own strength while relating to the stories in #ThePursuitOfPorsha,” she added.
Williams told her Instagram followers that the preorder of her book is available, and that the first chapter is available for free.
