RHOA fans recently rushed to singer, songwriter and reality star Kandi Burruss’ defense after fellow cast member Marlo Hampton said she’s only “known in Atlanta.”

Marlo threw the jab at Kandi during a heated argument about her decision to remove her nephews from her home. The altercation reportedly went down while the two were on a Jamaican getaway during RHOA’s latest episode.

“You do not think that it’s weird that you sent your nephews back and how that made them feel,” Kandi asked before Marlo abruptly responded, “Hell no!”

That’s when the 46-year-old hit Kandi with the low blow saying, “B***h, you ain’t nobody! [You’re] only known in Atlanta, baby.”

Kandi fired back as her husband Todd Tucker tried to restrain her, saying, “B***h, I’m worldwide!”

As the episode aired, RHOA viewers and fans rushed to Kandi’s defense via Twitter and debunked her fellow cast member’s inaccurate claims.

“Marlo unleashed a very random attack on Kandi. Like, wow, you’ve been wanting to say that. #RHOA,” user @RHOABAES said.

“Marlo is a delusional enemy. How can she say Kandi is only known in Atlanta?” user @Oloni tweeted.

“I know good, and goddamn well Marlo did not just say that Kandi is only known in Atlanta baby [she’s] worldwide. Marlo really [trynna] be another nene #RHOA,” user @alex_dxs said.

“Imagine telling Kandi Burruss, a well-known singer and Grammy award-winning songwriter for artists such as TLC and Destiny’s Child, that she is only known in Atlanta. SURELY Marlo doesn’t want to compare résumé’s #RHOA,” user @Housewivesho4 wrote.

A couple of months ago, in June, Marlo got into it with another The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star, Kenya Moore. As Sis2Sis previously reported, the two cast-mates had a dispute because Kenya told Kandi that Marlo was seemingly unsupportive of her friend Sheree Whitefield for divorcing her ex-husband Tyrone.
