RHOA alum Porsha Williams recently married now-husband Simon Guobadia in an American ceremony following their lavish Nigerian wedding.
According to People, Porsha’s second luxurious wedding took place at a Methodist church in Atlanta on November 27. The ceremony followed her lavish Nigerian wedding on November 26, where she officially tied the knot with Simon.
“Thank you to my HUSBAND @iamsimonguobadia for our magical fairytale wedding! I will love you now and forverrrrrrr!” she excitedly wrote in an Instagram post. “Till death, and even then we will never part lol [heart, party favor, hands up, Nigerian flag and American flag emojis] #WedidItAgain. The extravagant 350-guest American wedding was attended by fellow Housewives stars Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, Monyetta Shaw and Drew Sidora, among others. Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta‘s Karlie Redd, Married to Medicine‘s Quad Webb, Basketball Wives‘ Jennifer Williams, Comedian Rickey Smiley, rapper T.I. and his wife Tiny Harris were also in attendance.
“I want the Holy Spirit to usher us into being a husband and wife,” Porsha shared with People before her second ceremony. “I’m from the south, so I love being in church. I’ve never been married in a church, and Simon’s never been married in a church, so it’s going to be a new experience for both of us.”
She previously announced her first wedding via a heartfelt Instagram post. Footage of the traditional Nigerian ceremony–which celebrated Simon’s roots–quickly went viral on social media as fans and followers celebrated her new milestone. It reportedly took place at the Four Seasons with 250 guests.

The couple reportedly waited to exchange their wedding bands until their second ceremony. They first met in the summer of 2020 and announced their engagement in May 2021.
