Former Love and Hip Hop Hollywood cast member Nia Riley accused rapper Soulja Boy of being physically abusive during their tumultuous relationship. Riley, the daughter of the Grammy-winning producer extraordinaire Teddy Riley, alleged that the “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” rapper kicked her in the stomach while she was pregnant.
Riley detailed the traumatic relationship on Unwine With Tasha K” a popular Youtube show hosted by the blogger.
“We had an incident when I was pregnant. I feel like we always did,” Riley said to Tasha K.

“But for him to kick you when you were pregnant– Did you tell him that you were pregnant with his baby?” she asked.
The 31-year-old reality said her ex “absolutely knew I was pregnant.”
“I was, like, fifteen weeks.”
Riley implied that she miscarried later that evening as a result of the alleged assault.
“I don’t think I had even told anybody else that I was pregnant. Cuz truthfully, in my mind, I didn’t know what to do or what I wanted to do. And I was in LA, so I had some time.” she expressed.
Tasha K. continued questioning Riley about the miscarriage, asking the period between the alleged assault and her losing the baby.
“I’m not sure what time it was that it happened, but I know for sure it was that night, late that night, maybe early morning. I remember I had put a towel on the bed,” the reality star responded.
Riley also said that despite the reported abuse, Soulja Boy never suffered any consequences.
“You saw what he did, but he was still booked for shows, booked for tours,” she told Tasha K.
In 2019, Riley talked about her abusive relationship with Soulja Boy, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, on Van Lathan’s Red Pill Podcast, according to Okayplayer.
Her appearance on the podcast stemmed from her and Soulja Boy’s controversial appearance on Marriage Bootcamp: Hip Hop Edition.
A clip showed the rapper grabbing and cursing at Riley as she screamed for him to get off her.
Castmate Tammy Rivera, the wife of rapper Waka Flocka, said on camera, “We all in this together, so… I was ready to beat Soulja’s a** if I had to.”
Hopefully, Riley is in a better situation and getting the support she needs for her and her children.
