Princess Love is moving forward with the divorce from her estranged husband, Ray J.
According to Radar Online, documents revealed that Princess Love requested that the courts set a court date to discuss the sordid details of the divorce, attorney fees, property ownership, spousal support, child support, custody over children and visitation rights.
While documents show Princess Love pushing the divorce, she told a TMZ reporter in March that she hoped things would improve between her and Ray J, “but when someone keeps filing for divorce, you have to give them what they want,” insinuating the divorce was inevitable.
In the space asking for the date of marriage, Ray J put Aug. 12, 2016, and “TBD” for the date of separation. As for spousal support, the former Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood reality star checked the box that would terminate Princess Love’s right to the money and informed them that the couple had signed a premarital agreement. He clarified that he wanted all rights to his money before and during the marriage and after their split.
However, Princess Love ignored her soon-to-be ex-husband’s objections to spousal support and requested joint legal and physical custody of their children along with spousal support.
In May 2020, Princess Love filed for divorce against Ray J, accusing him of leaving her and her daughter stranded in Las Vegas while pregnant. She dismissed the divorce in July that year. Ray J filed for divorce in September 2020 but called it off in March 2021. In October 2021, The “One Wish” singer filed for divorce again. It’s unclear what happened during the third filing, but in January 2022, Princess Love announced on her Instagram story that she would enter single life in August 2022.
