It’s going down in the DMs and Twitter thanks to City Girls rapper JT and celebrity blogger Ken Barbie.

Recently, JT and Ken Barbie have been going back and forth on Twitter and in their DMs after the “Act Bad” rapper accused the blogger of indicating that Black women are dogs.

It all started when Ken Barbie tweeted photos of JT’s tweet, reading, “The princess VS the peasants,” and side-by-side photos of Ice Spice wearing a diamond “Princess” chain.

The blogger captioned, “Somebody better tell JT Ice Spice already brought her ‘princess’ collar,” insinuating Ice Spce is the new Princess of Rap.

The collar part could’ve been a play on JT’s October 2022 tweet from when she was feuding with fellow rapper Cardi B, who referred to her as a lapdog, and she clapped back, calling herself a “Big dog.”

Either way, JT didn’t take kindly to the Tweet and responded by quote-tweeting, “Non-Black [people] once again using terms to insinuate that Black women are dogs.”

The blogger quote-tweeted, “But I’m definitely 100% Black…not half, not a quarter, FULL. Why y’all always assume light skin people aren’t Black? Don’t try to race-bait me. You know you’re lap dog.” He added two photos of him with his dad and his family.

As many know, JT isn’t about chit-chat but about taking action. She commented, “F**k all that! I’m in NY. Pull up & have ya wig on!”

After inviting the blogger to duke it out, Ken Barbie stated he didn’t fight women. Some tweets were deleted, with JT asking the public if Ken had a sister. Ken Barbie clapped back that she didn’t want “that,” and JT clarified she wanted all the smoke. The Neighborhood Talk posted some of the deleted tweets on their page.

Quote-tweeting a deleted tweet, Ken Barbie asked JT, “Where was this energy when that girl played in your face? Talking ’bout she the girl of your man dreams after playing with him DIRECTLY in your face? You know who to try, huh?”

The feud could’ve ended with Ken Barbie apologizing since the grown man started it, but he continued adding fuel to the fire, bringing up a 2018 tweet where JT claimed she loved “milky” dark-skinned girls, but not the “crispy” ones.

“Trying to race bait when this is you is crazy,” Ken Barbie posted.

The celebrity blogger then started posting DM screenshots, showing a text from the rapper that said, “I truly hate the internet. You so lame. Ain’t you supposed to be a blog? I never say s**t to you but relax. Ion know you, you don’t know me! Leave it at that. D**n.”

Responding to her deleted tweet, he wrote, “You left out the part where you admitted to being well aware of Leslie’s side pieces. Don’t be mad at me, be mad at your man. Telling them that he don’t wanna have a baby with you. You putting all this energy on the wrong THEM.”

Leslie is an alias Lil Uzi Vert uses.

JT tweeted screenshots of more of their texts, seemingly not denying her boyfriend had side pieces, but she told him to leave them out of the conversation.

When commenters came for her about reportedly knowing her man had other women, she shut the assumptions down by stating she was being sarcastic in the texts, which Ken Barbie didn’t believe.

Back in June, Lil Uzi Vert and the City Girls rapper had a heated moment at the BET Awards, which many believed Ice Spice had some involvement in the disagreement despite JT’s team denying it. Ken Barbie tweeted audio of Ice Spice reportedly bashing JT, calling her ugly inside and out, after the heated BET Awards moment.

The blogger pointed out that she never had the energy she gave him for other women, which shows her respect towards fellow women, unlike the biased celebrity blogger.

Twitter users mentioned his November 2022 tweet where he referred to JT as a lapdog when reporting on her and Lil Uzi Vert, showing he obviously can’t keep her name out of his mouth or content. But his page has always shown love for Cardi B, who had previously referred to JT as a lapdog.

To defend himself, Ken Barbie tweeted a screenshot of the definition of a lapdog. But the first definition was “a small dog kept as a pet.” Underneath, it read, “a person or organization that is influenced or controlled by another.”

JT struggled with posting a tweet, so she published a screenshot of her responding to Ken Barbie’s deleted tweet, reading, “I’m about to call your owner, why are [you] back in my yard,” referring to her as a dog.
