Rapper Bun B (Bernard Freeman) and his beautiful wife celebrated 20 years of marriage by renewing their vows. Not too long after, they celebrated his 50th birthday, all on the same day.
According to Essence, Pastor Keion Henderson officiated their vow renewal ceremony at the Contemporary Arts Museum of Houston. The “Get Throwed” rapper and his lover of 20 years, Angela “Queenie” Walls, exchanged “I dos” and shared a kiss for the second time in front of family and friends.Â
After the emotional affair, the couple walked away from the alter to a beautiful orchestra movie and headed upstairs, where a surprise birthday bash awaited.
Bun B performed for the crowd and promoted his burger business, Trill Burgers.Â
After performing “Murder” from his hip hop duo, UGK (Chad “Pimp C” Butler was a part of), Bun B thanked the crowd and his wife.
“I want to thank everybody for coming out like I was geniously surprised. God bless my beautiful wife, Queenie, for putting this together,” he said. “Everybody in here is somebody I got love for and I know got love for me. God bless y’all.”

In a 2010 interview with X Appeal, Bun B revealed that he and his wife didn’t have issues with him going on the road or being around women because of their history.
“I met my wife when I wasn’t necessarily making a lot of money, and my wife is not a big fan of fame,” he said. “I didn’t marry someone who craves the spotlight. Almost every time my wife comes somewhere it’s an argument, because she wants to stay home and I just want her to see some of these nicer things I get to experience.”
He continued, “We take first class flights, stay in five star hotels, stay in big suites and walk red carpets, see famous people and take all of these pictures… and my wife’s not really about all of that kind of stuff.”
When asked how she keeps their home happy, he said that she’s the reason he’s “grounded in reality.”
