Rapper 50 Cent Is Living In Houston For A New Project, And Twitter Has Advice

On Tuesday, rapper and television producer Curtis Jackson, better known as 50 Cent, announced via his Twitter that he’s traded his hometown of New York City for Houston, Texas. The 45-year-old entrepreneur also revealed that he’s working on a new anthology series called Confessions of A Crime Queen that will likely be filmed during his time in Houston.

“I love NY,” he wrote

on Twitter. “But I live in Houston now. I’ll explain later.”

50 Cent uploaded a picture of himself outside of the city’s popular sports stadium, the Astrodome, and also gave fans a few details about his new true crime show. The new series was created with Lionsgate Television and has been greenlit by Discovery+, a streaming app for shows on the Discovery Channel.

Described as “first-of-its-kind,” Confessions of A Crime Queen “will focus on the true story of one larger-than-life woman who created and led a multi-million-dollar criminal empire before a dramatic fall from power. The subject will be portrayed by an A-list actress who will also interview the real-life female crime lord at the center of the story,” according to Deadline.
