Ralph Pittman, 40, the husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Drew Sidora, 38, called her alleged child support request for his stepson a “money grab” on X on Monday, Sept. 4. Social media users ate his ass up.
The quandary started after the RHOA reunion aired on Sunday, Sept. 3, where Sidora checked Pittman’s “cousin,” Courtney Rhodes, about speaking on her son. Rhodes denied she did, which reunion host Andy Cohen confirmed she did in a previous episode when she wasn’t aware cameras were still rolling.
Sidora took to X to affirm she didn’t like Rhodes speaking on her son and wished her husband had put Rhodes in her place.
“I must always protect and stand for my children against this type of evil,” Sidora wrote. “I gave him the opportunity to shut his unverifiable fake cousin down for her disgusting comments made concerning my son, however, he refused to do so & it breaks my heart.”
She continued in a subsequent post, “She meant to be nasty & rude making comments and dragging my child into this… KIDS ARE ALWAYS OFF LIMITS!!! That’s it, that’s all…. we’re done!

Pittman commented under the aforementioned post, stating he assumed the role of Josiah’s father out of his heart’s kindness, yet alluding that he’s not the biological father and doesn’t want to pay child support.
“It’s time to speak truth, so let’s be real. You expect me to pay child support when he has a father that wants to play an active role in his life, but you won’t let him,” The 40-year-old complained. “Your adoption request was only a money grab and control. Since the age of 3, I stepped up to fill the gap as a man and unconditionally provided from my heart without expectations.”
Pittman continued, “I will continue being there, but you’re not going to take advantage of me or use this show to get your way. I understand playing the battered victim role earns you sympathy on this platform, but you will respect me as a Father. I love all my kids and have given them the world, including you. It’s about them now. #Respect.”

So, instead of defending the child he supposedly cared about and helped raise “out of the kindness of his heart,” he slams his soon-to-be ex-wife.
In a previous episode, Rhodes had a hot mic moment, discussing Sidora’s alleged affair with WNBA player Ty Young, claiming Pittman had proof of infidelity. Rhodes wasn’t aware the cameras were hot when she claimed Sidora continuously pushed for Pittman to adopt her son, Josiah, so she could be in her “gay lover relationship” while he paid the bills.

So, when the 38-year-old actress confronted her about it, the 48-year-old acted like she didn’t bring up her son, but Sidora ensured Rhodes knew she didn’t play about her son. She told her never to speak on her son at the reunion and said children were automatically off limits.
Since Pittman wanted to play the victim, social media users made him eat his “money grab” allegations, reminding him of the cash grab book he wrote about being a step-parent — “A Step In Parenting.”
