“When you opened up your heart, it showed me a safe space,” Robinson told Braxton. “I’ve never felt that type of unconditional love and it meant the world to me. You made me really realize I was truly in love with you. I feel like your heart will forever be safe with me.”
Getting emotional, Braxton opened up to her now-fiancé.
“The truth is…I was not ready to let go of my past and what was comfortable for me,” she admitted. “I knew I was different than my siblings. I prayed for somebody to understand me and not look at me and my flaws and just accept me for who I am. And then I met you. And then I saw every single [thing] that I ever prayed for as a child.”
Braxton continued saying that she had been through hard times and had to realize that love wasn’t the only thing she needed. She also needed a friend, which is what she found in Robinson.
“I’m not only willing, I’m ready,” Robinson said. “So much so that I don’t want to be your friend. I don’t want to be your friend. I want to be your husband.”
He continued, “I’m here forever because I don’t see my life without you. And I love you, Tamar. Tamar, will you marry me?”
She said yes and told him that she was crazy about him.
Sis2Sis reported that Robinson was an attorney in Atlanta, Georgia. He co-founded his law firm, the JR Law Group.
The two also have kids from previous relationships. Braxton shares her 9-year-old son, Logan, with her ex-husband Vincent Herbert. Robinson has five children with four different women, People reported.
During the first episode of Queen’s Court, the two bonded over losing people they loved. Robinson told Braxton how he saw a hummingbird at his mother’s funeral, and Braxton said that Traci, her older sister who died in 2022 due to cancer, said she would transform into a hummingbird when she died.
Congratulations to the couple! We hope their lives are filled with nothing but happiness.
