Prayers are needed for Keke Wyatt’s son, Ke’Zyah Jean Darring, who returned to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), according to a video Wyatt posted on Friday, Feb. 10, of her riding in the back of an ambulance.
“In the EMS back to the PICU…plz,” the singer wrote in the caption, followed by three prayer emojis. In the video, Wyatt cradled her infant while medical personnel could be heard in the background.

The singer didn’t say anything directly to the camera but showed Ke’Zyah lying in her arms and sucking on a pacifier with a nasal cannula in his nose.
Actress Queen Latifah commented under the post, “Thank you, Lord, for [your] healing power. Amen.”
Gospel singer Kierra Sheard’s mom, Karen Clark Sheard, wrote, “In Jesus name heal.”
Xscape member Tiny informed Wyatt that she “said a prayer for the baby & the family,” adding, “[You] are always in our hearts & prayers Keke…We love you.”
Before returning to the hospital, Ke’Zyah had been home for a little over a week (he came home on Feb. 3). A couple of days before returning to the hospital, Wyatt posted a video of her holding Ke’Zyah and explaining to the camera that he was fussy every time she tried to put him down.
“Current situation,” she said. “I can’t put him down. He won’t let me put him down. He will not let me…look at his little bad self, look at this. He won’t let me put him down. If I put him down, he screams. If I hold him, he does this. The pleasures and the not-so-pleasurable mommy conquerors.
As previously reported, Ke’Zyah was diagnosed with Trisomy 13 (Patau Syndrome), a rare genetic disorder, after birth. Wyatt and her husband, Zackariah Darring, welcomed their eight-month son into the world on May 27, 2022.
