On Wednesday, Power actor Rotimi and his gorgeous fiancée Vanessa Mdee welcomed their son into the world.

The “In My Bed” crooner posted a touching photo to Instagram announcing the birth of his baby boy named Seven Adeoluwa Akinosho. Adeoluwa means “crown of God” in Yoruba (Rotimi’s tribal affiliation).

 

The Nigerian entertainer and Mdee met in New Orleans during an afterparty at the Essence Festival. The two   started a whirlwind romance and have been “inseparable” ever since. 

The glowing mom also discussed how her pregnancy went. 

“He’s been so good to us. No real pain or symptoms. Some funny cravings and food aversions here and there. It’s been much harder in these final weeks because he’s preparing his arrival, but all in all, we’ve been super blessed.”

Rotimi gushed over his bride-to-be after he posted gorgeous photos of them during a maternity shoot earlier this month, saying, “My greatest gift has been you. You changed my life, and now we are beautifully linked forever to raise a little us. I pray our son has your glow, Your heart, Your mind, and your spirit. I will protect you and our son with everything I have!”

 

Rotimi asked Mdee to marry him last December.
