Former reality TV star Phaedra Parks recently opened up and spoke about possibly returning to the Real Housewives of Atlanta and said it’s “not a responsible decision.”
Hollywood Life asked the TV personality if she’d ever return to the show, which she denied.
Parks recently returned to the streaming network Bravo to shoot the second season of Ultimate Girls Trip, which led fans to be curious whether she would go back to being a Housewife.
Parks said, “I’ve evolved, and so I love that the fans want me back, but my children are at an age — The Housewives is an awesome platform, but it comes with its issues and so to be a great parent and to be a responsible parent, I think that that would not be a responsible decision.”
She was also asked if she felt ready to leave the show at the time of her departure and if she felt relieved not to have filmed another season for the drama reality show.

“No, I kept in touch with everyone! Vicki[Gunvalson] and I have spoken several times,” Parks said. “Tamra[Judge] as well. Everyone. I have really kept in touch. Eva[Marcille] and I talk all of the time. Our kids play sports together, so I see her and talk to her all of the time. She’s a Scorpio too.”
Parks was asked if she’s ever been asked to go back on the show considering her close relationship with Andy Cohen, a producer for the show.
She responded, “People ask me. Every year I’m approached at some part of the year, but it’s just not something I want to do. I did it for what, eight years of my life? Both of my kids were born on live TV. It’s a lot. So for all of those eight years, for all of the things that I shared with the world, I think I will go down in history as being one of the best for that franchise.”
The Blast reported that Parks was booted off the show after beefing with Porsha Williams in 2017 when she accused Williams of fabricating lies about Kandi Burruss and her ex-husband Todd Tucker.
