A group of angry parents has recently called for the resignation of New Jersey art teacher Roxsana Diaz over her curvy body.
Parents have asked officials at the unnamed school in Pennsauken Township to fire the Puerto Rican art teacher because “her body distracts the students.” The group of outraged caregivers had reportedly done so by sending a letter requesting that they dismiss her from working in front a kindergarten classroom.
Diaz, who goes by “The Art Teacher” on Instagram, previously made headlines after images of her at work went viral via social media. In the images, she was seen showing off her voluptuous figure in various outfits ranging from slinky to conservative while standing in front of an art class. However, parents have reportedly complained about it, saying she shouldn’t wear tight clothing to work with children and that her curves are excessive.

Due to New Jersey and federal labor laws, it would be illegal to fire Diaz over her physical appearance. As such, the school in which she works had not reportedly considered following through with parents’ requests. Yet, the critics have refused to back down, so famed Bronx rapper Fat Joe stepped in and publicly defended her.
“In New Jersey they got a school teacher…they’re trynna fire her because she’s too sexy, she’s too beautiful. She’s too curvacious,” he said via his Instagram account on Aug. 26. “There’s a teacher out there in Jersey that is a special, special one. And so, the parents are sick because they’re bringing the kids…I say let the women be great. Can you fire somebody for their looks?…it’s discrimination…how can you fire a teacher because she’s bad?”
The school teacher’s account, @toyboxdollz, has over 941,000 followers. Sources said she’s previously worked with Atlanta rapper Lil Yachty as well as Philly rapper and podcast host Gillie Da Kid.
