The Houston hottie is coming to a TV screen near you. Megan Thee Stallion will be joining
the cast of the STARZ Network’s break-out show, P-Valley, as they enter season 2.The STARZ series, penned by Katori Hall, follows several people who work at The Pynk, a fictional strip club in Chucalissa, Mississippi.
The Grammy award-winning rapper will portray her alter ego, Tina Snow, later in the season.
In a special guest appearance on Strahan, Sara and Keke, Thee Stallion explained where her Tina Snow persona originated.
“I’m from the South. I love UGK, and Pimp C is my favorite rapper, so Tina Snow is like my version of him,” she said. “He makes me feel so confident and so smooth and so laid back. You know, real playa.”
Fans were introduced to Tina Snow with the release of her 2018 EP. It features the single “Big Ole Freak,” her first entry on the US Billboard Hot 100 and break-out hit “Freak Nasty.”

The college graduate also wrote and recorded an original song for P-Valley
that will be featured in its second season. And this isn’t the first time series producers featured Thee Stallion’s work. During Season 1, her hit single “Hot Girl” from the Tina Snow EP was spotlighted when Mercedes, played by Brandee Evans, and Autumn Night, played by Elrica Johnson, pulled off a quick money scheme.This also isn’t her first onscreen appearance, either. In 2020, Megan played Onyx for NBC’s comedy-drama Good Girls and served as a judge in HBO’s Legendary. She also has a few upcoming roles in the films F**cking Identical Twins and The Best Man Wedding.
Last year, the 27-year-old became a Texas Southern University graduate, receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration.
Last month, she was awarded the key to her city, and Mayor Turner proclaimed May 2 as Megan Thee Stallion Day in Houston.
Now, Thee Stallion can also officially collect coins for her famous phrase “Hot Girl Summer,” which was federally trademarked in January.
