Outlawz rapper Napoleon revealed Jada Pinkett Smith once begged Tupac not to harm Will Smith.
Napoleon spilled the tea during an interview with the Art of Dialogue. He described the times Tupac spoke to him about Pinkett Smith. The first time was after the duo went to see one of her movies in 1994, and Pac bragged about knowing the actress.
The second time Tupac mentioned
the Red Table Talk host wasn’t positive.“The second time I probably heard him talk about her is when he went to L.A. He was very upset,” Napoleon recalled.
“Pac came in the room and was like, ‘Jada, she gonna contact me and tell me don’t do nothing to Will Smith.’ So Pac was upset and said, ‘I don’t know why she think I would have tried to make some problems with Will Smith.’ I guess it kind of hurt him. He had a lot of love for Jada Pinkett, a lot of respect for her.”
The revelation had tongues wagging as the Smiths’ relationship hit the headlines once again. Smith was a trending topic on Twitter due to this gossip about his wife and her ex-boo.
“Jada Pinkett-Smith ain’t gone shut up about Tupac until he show up at her door, huh,” joked one person.
“Will Smith puts up with a lot. The dynamics of that relationship are something I’ll probably never understand. I’m not sure I’ll ever “evolve” to that level. Not sure I’d want to,” another person observed.
Roughly two weeks ago, Pinkett Smith honored
Tupac’s 50th birthday by sharing a poem he wrote to her for the first time.“Pac wrote me many letters and many poems. I don’t think this one has ever been published. I don’t think he would have minded that I shared this with you guys,” she said in the Instagram video before she recited the piece.
