K’mari Epps, the daughter of actor Omar and Total’s Keisha Epps, gave her family two reasons to cry during the last two weeks of May. K’mari experienced the two most significant milestones of a teenager’s high school life– senior prom and graduation.
The first event was her senior prom, in which the Los Angeles-based teen shared photos of her posing with her date in a white, one-shoulder gown.

K’mari’s mom, Keisha, took to Instagram to share her daughter’s prom photos, stating in the caption, “It was prom. She was breathtaking. Just stunning. He was handsome and head to toe fresh. The day couldn’t have been any better. Our forever baby. A young woman now. Golden.”
She ends the post by thanking those who helped K’mari get ready for her special day.

On May 25, K’mari walked the stage, graduating from Sierra Canyon School, a private school located in Los Angeles, California. From photos with her friends to ones with her family holding cardboard cutouts of K’mari’s face, Keisha and K’mari allowed their followers to get a glimpse of the special day.
“On May 5 our baby girl @kmari.epps graduated from High School and we couldn’t be more proud. You did it my Nina!!! May God continue to cover you & bless you in abundance,” Keisha captioned her post. “You are intelligent, trustworthy, graceful, kind, sweet, talented, humble & giving. A beautiful spirit you truly are. You are a light and a shoulder to your friends and to me also. My best friend! How blessed I am! As you close this chapter to enter another, remember to keep God first, protect yourself with people who help to make you better. There will be challenges but they are never to break you, only to help shape you. No matter what trend is in or out-keep your walk of integrity as you have! And never forget- mistakes are just another form of GPS to help you better navigate through this life. Work hard but work smarter and as your father always says-discipline and consistency is key! It’s time to make another mark on the world my LOVE. LIGHT IT UP!! It happened!! Family, it takes a village. I LOVE you. God is GREAT!…always!”
