On Thursday’s June 8 episode of The Kardashians, Kim’s nine-year-old daughter North West interrupted a serious conversation to let one rip.
Before Kim and Scott Disick reflected on Robert Kardashian’s passing, the Skims founder got prosthetic makeup applied to her face for a prank going down later in the episode. While the 9-year-old showed off her skills with a brush and palette, Kim, 42, began telling Scott that she could see herself working in a Macy’s store if she wasn’t the media personality she is today.
“I don’t want to be that girl, like, ‘Oh my god, I miss this, I miss this.’ I also don’t want to live in the past. “I wonder what life would be like now if we didn’t take that road — if we didn’t take that journey.”
She continued to assure the pair that she’s never been depressed, not even after her father, Robert, passed away when she was a young adult. “I can handle it all,” She began, “I remember automatically being like, ‘OK, I’m going to speak at the funeral. This is happening. My dad left us because we have to grow up finally, and we have to figure it out,’”
In the middle of the conversation, North shushed the pair and suddenly farted twice. Kim burst into laughter, and Scott started to crack jokes about the moment. He joked, “The sound of the police, woop, woop. You better check your pants, kid.”
Scott, 40, added, “There’s definitely a little dingleberry popping off. I liked it. By the way, it smells delicious.”
Following the funny moment, Kim offered a bit of an explanation for North’s behavior. In a confessional, she explained, “Mom life in a nutshell. I am in a deep conversation, and then, you know, North is a kid.”
Later in the season 3-second episode, North passed gas again. At the enactment of the prank they were preparing for earlier, Kim managed to convince her security guard and her five-year-old daughter, Chicago, that she was an art teacher named Annika. Scott could barely contain his laughter as he told the pair that Annika “specializes in arts and farts.”
North started to laugh and farted again. Scott said, “Oh, she’s back!” Disick exclaimed. “Just when you thought it was all art, she comes back with a fart.”
North, Chicago, and two sons, Saint and Psalm, are the four children that Kim shares with her ex-husband Kanye West. North is their oldest, followed by Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4.
