Nicki Minaj has taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to claim that legal repercussions have finally been brought against a woman who allegedly called a swatting prank on her. On Wednesday, August 23, the “Pink Friday” rapper updated her fans on the process.
According to TMZ, Nicki Minaj has been a victim of several swatting pranks. Swatting is regarded as when a person calls the police, typically on a celebrity, and makes false claims to cause authorities – normally a SWAT team – to show up at their house. The woman, identified as “Stephanie Bell,” is reportedly facing criminal charges.

The incidents occurred at her San Fernando Valley home, and Nicki told her fans that they would see reports about Bell soon.

Nicki added in another post, “Stephanie Bell. A warrant is in the system. Great detective work. So grateful. The DA filed one count for the swatting call and one for the false report to DCFS. To God be the glory.”

TMZ confirmed with law enforcement that Bell has been hit with two charges of deliberately reporting a false emergency by claiming that a child was being abused in Nicki’s home, and there’s currently a warrant out for her arrest.
