NAACP Image Award-winning multihyphenate Nick Cannon recently welcomed his eighth baby with model Bre Tiesi–his first with the L.A. native.
According to reports, Tiesi announced the birth of her and Cannon’s sweet newborn baby, Legendary Love Cannon, via Instagram on July 25.
“I did it [:] an all-natural unmedicated home birth. This was the most humbling/limit-pushing yet awakening and completely empowering experience,” she wrote. “I can’t thank my team enough for delivering my son safely. This experience has changed me forever, and I couldn’t of asked for a more amazing and supportive partner. Daddy showed the f up for us…I couldn’t [have] done it without you. I can’t believe he’s here.”
She added that a vlog of her birth was uploaded to her self-titled YouTube channel, Bre Tiesi.
“The vlog of my birth is now LIVE on my YouTube. I have documented my pregnancy, natural induction, labor and delivery, as well as more information and resources for doulas midwife’s and hypnobirthing. It’s Real RAW, and I hope It helps anyone considering an unmedicated home birth [prayer hands emoji]. Follow @legendarylovecannon for all this baby love [blue heart emoji].”
Tiesi also tagged the baby’s Instagram page, which was updated with a cute photo of him on July 26.
She and Cannon revealed that they were expecting their first child together back in January. Cannon currently has six other children: 11-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife and singer Mariah Carey, son Golden, five, and 17-month-old daughter, Powerful, with ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell and one-year-old twins Zion and Zillion with model Abby De La Rosa. His late son, with Wild’ N Out
costar Alyssa Scott, Zen Cannon, tragically passed away from a brain tumor at just five months old in December 2021.During an episode of his now-canceled talk show, Nick Cannon, the San Diego native apologized to the mothers of his children for causing them “pain” with the announcement of Bre Tiesi’s pregnancy.
“I misspoke and probably went too much into detail on Monday expressing my feelings,” he said–one week after confirming that he was expecting his eighth child. “It probably felt like I was making some comparatives when talking about the passing of my son Zen and then also talking about the new child I’m expecting. I didn’t need to do that because those are two completely separate moments in my life and they both deserve the respect.”
