Nick Cannon shocked his fans after revealing his intimacy issues during the Jan. 19 episode of the Nick Cannon Show. Fans were surprised to hear the news because Cannon has had seven children.
The talk show host was doing a segment about men’s insecurities in the bedroom, and Cannon admitted
to being insecure with intimacy due to his slim build and said he hides under the covers.“I’ve got to tell you, I definitely have an insecurity when it comes to being intimate,” he said. “I’ve been skinny my whole life, so therefore I’ve never liked to be completely naked. It’s usually like, I hide under the covers. As much as I boast about being in shape.”
He added that he is more comfortable with some clothes or a pair of socks. The segment included Dr. Ish Major, Chris Distefano, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Rip Michaels.
Fans joked about Cannon’s comments due to his reputation as a ladies’ man. He’s had seven children with four women, and social media had fun with his revelation.
The panel also noted having insecurities about satisfying their partners and performing. Cannon added that he sometimes covers up his insecurities with humor as a comedian.
“We do that as comedians, right Chris?” he asked “We’ll go straight for the joke instead of actually sharing how we feel. I laugh. Like if someone’s giving me bad news, I kinda laugh it off, but that’s that insecurity of not knowing what to do.”
Cannon has had seven children so far, twin daughters Morocco and Monroe with ex-wife and singer Mariah Carey, twin sons Zillion and Zion with Abby De La Rosa, and Golden and Powerful with Brittany Bell. Cannon also had a five-month-old son, Zen, with model Alyssa Scott. Zen tragically died
