Wild N’ Out host Nick Cannon set the record straight after The Sun, according to Cannon, falsely reported that he pays $3 million annually in child support. The report came after he and Abby De La Rosa welcomed their third baby (Cannon’s twelfth), Zeppelin Cannon, on Nov. 11., Sis2Sis reported.

“I spend more than that on my children annually,” he told The Neighborhood Talk. “Don’t plan on participating in the governmental system.”
The Sun’s legal expert Goldie Schon estimated that he paid 34-year-old Brittany Bell, mother of Cannon’s 5-year-old Golden, 1-year-old Powerful Queen, and yet-to-be-born baby, a total of $80,000 in child support. She said that De La Rosa, the mother of his 1-year-old twins Zion and Zillion and newborn Zepplin, could be getting close to a million a year. Schon estimated that Bre Tiesi and LaNisha Cole earned around $40,000 in monthly payments.
“When you have somebody like Nick Cannon, who’s an extremely high-income earner, the courts in California have the right to deviate from the typical child support guidelines,” Goldie Schon said. “If he is taking home somewhere upward of $5 million a year, you have to look at what it would take to have the children kept in the lifestyle of both parents. Dad is clearly a public figure and makes a substantial income. The lifestyle has to be the same with mom as it is with dad.”
She added, “Having children is a great way of maintaining your lifestyle; I mean—it’s nice work if you can get it.”
After Zeppelin was born, Cannon posted a photo of him and De La Rosa holding their newborn.
