Nick Cannon Reveals He Had Vasectomy Consultation, ‘Ain’t Looking To Populate The Earth Completely’

Nick Cannon seemingly wants to take a break from having any more children. The Wild N’ Out creator chatted exclusively with E! News Daily Pop on May 17 and discussed his family plans after the birth of his eighth child with girlfriend Bre Tiesi while revealing that he recently had a vasectomy consultation.

“I don’t know if I would’ve designed it this way, but it’s one of those things when you’re blessed with the gifts of children—and as we all know, I’ve been through so much, I find solace, I find peace in my children and I find purpose,” Cannon told hosts Justin Sylvester and Loni Love. “So, I’m not out here looking.”

He added, “I already went and got my vasectomy consultation. I ain’t looking to populate the Earth completely, but I’m definitely looking forward to taking care and loving all the children that I currently have.”

Cannon shares 10-year-old twins with ex-wife Mariah Carey, a father to 5-year-old Golden “Sagon” and 1-year-old Powerful Queen, whom he shares with Brittany Bell. Cannon also shares 9-month-old twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with Abby De La Rosa.

The 41-year-old’s infant son, Zen Scott Cannon, whom he shared with Alyssa Scott, was five-months-old when he passed away from a malignant brain tumor in December 2021. In January, the Masked Singer host announced that he was expecting his eighth child with 30-year-old Tiesi. He reportedly expects two more babies with exes Alyssa Scott and Lanisha Cole, so a vasectomy may be what the doctor ordered.

During the interview, Cannon admitted feeling guilty for not spending enough time with his children.

“I do have the guilt of not having enough time to spend with all of my children, as we all do because we’re working and constantly going,” he shared. “Especially right now when they’re younger. We was doing little league with my 5-year-old [

Golden Cannon] this weekend. We got swim practice this week. I take my kids to school every morning. I FaceTime. Two weeks ago, [twins Moroccan and Monroe Cannon, 11] had their birthday party. We shut down Six Flags.”

While struggling to split time between his work and family, Cannon insisted on being more involved in his kids’ lives, suggesting that he would be their biggest supporter in helping them pursue their career interests.

“You definitely gonna see some Cannons on the screen and hear their music,” he joked. “I’m going to have to recoup some of this. So they gonna be some talented babies.”

Aside from his hectic family life, the entertainer has a mixtape called “Raw & B: The Explicit Tape” with his ex-girlfriend Jessica White featured on the cover. Cannon and White had an on-and-off relationship from 2015 to 2020.

“When you have connections with people, when you have muses, when you have creative relationships, that type of stuff doesn’t even come into play,” Cannon said “I talk with Jessica every single day and I have the utmost respect for her, all that she is.”

Cannon also has an upcoming album set to be released this summer.
